Our pick of November interiors pop-ups and markets, including Glassette's first ever physical outing
The early bird gets the best Christmas gifts, or so the saying (kind of) goes.
To be a brilliant gifter is to be an opportunist. The most thoughtful among us see present-buying potential in autumn vintage markets and brand pop-ups a full month before everyone else is making a mad dash for it around Westfield.
And there are some fabulous autumn offerings popping up all over town, whether you're thinking of stocking fillers or just a way to treat yourself. Here are the best interiors pop-ups, markets and sales to have on your radar now.
Glassette pop-up at Selfridges
After a summer of second-hand design, including collaborations with Vinterior and The Spotlight Market, Selfridges is set to host Glassette's first IRL outing.
The temporary showroom will bring a bigger audience to Laura Jackson's thriving homeware marketplace, which is the sole stockist for many small UK brands and makers. For now, this will be the only place to shop the new glassware collection.
From October 30; 400 Oxford Street, London W1A 1AB
Projekt Mkt Vintage Poster Market
Remove the ubiquitous French cinema poster from your basket and head to this specialist market in Peckham.
Projekt 26 founders Sylwia and Harriet have got a host of indie dealers on speed dial, so expect thousands of graphic-but-grown-up designs from retro surf and psychedelica to their own stash of rare Polish theatre, exhibition and film posters. Prices start at £10 and a zero-waste framer is on hand.

Little is known about the line up for this winter pop-up, but we do know it will include another drop from the platform's second cohort, an eclectic gang of best-in-class furniture makers, jewellery designers, sculptors and more.

Christmas Design Collective at Connaught Village
Abandon Oxford Street chaos for precision gifting at this genteel design community nearby.

Combine with a frosty walk in Hyde Park, but beware Winter Wonderland in full flow.

Ett Hem
Plasticky petals no longer cut it thanks to next-generation faux flower brands like Ett Hem London, whose hand-made stems have made it into Buckingham Palace.
Conduct the touch test at their pop-up in Notting Hill, which promises the chance to create bespoke bouquets, buy their first-ever wreaths and garlands and declare yourself pro-faux with a new range of tote bags and sweatshirts.
October 30 – November 6; 79 Ledbury Road, London W11 2AG
Winter Yard Sale at Museum of the Home
Museum of the Home's Winter Yard Sale is back after a fallow year. Choice selections include modish striped cushions from Amuse La Bouche and chef-endorsed kitchen knives with recycled handles by Allday Goods, and festive nibbles and mince pies will be on hand to fuel the browsing.
It's part of a wider winter festival which includes an auction with design hotel stays and bespoke furniture as prizes.

Forest Hill homeware store Better Things will hand over the keys to a trio of local dealers – not literally, we presume – for five days of all things vintage design in early November.
Christopher Lian and the duo behind Opta have been holding back some of their most collectible objects and artwork, while My Moka Home's rare Italian moka pots are sure to impress the most haughty of coffee heads.
