A north London masseur has been convicted of voyeurism and sexual assault offences against ten female clients.

Yuliyan Dimov, 45, from Enfield, was found guilty of 12 sexual assault charges at Wood Green Crown Court on Thursday May 2.

A woman reported being sexually assaulted during a massage at her home in November 2022, Metropolitan Police said on Monday.

After she came forward, officers contacted other women who had appointments with Dimov.

One woman, who had reported him the previous year but later withdrew her support for the investigation, got back in touch with authorities after learning she was not his only victim, the force said.

In a police interview, Dimov denied all allegations.

However, the Met said when authorities examined his mobile phone, they discovered over 30 photos of different women taken without their consent during home visits.

After reaching out to all of Dimov’s female clients, more assault victims came forward.

Dimov was arrested at Gatwick Airport in June 2023 while trying to board a one-way flight to Bulgaria.

Despite evidence of sexual assault and voyeurism, he maintained that the photos were solely for professional use on his massage website, the Met said.

Dimov was convicted of six counts of voyeurism, two counts of attempted voyeurism, nine counts of sexual assault, and three counts of sexual assault against ten victims in total.

He will be sentenced at Wood Green Court on Friday June 28.

Detective Abigail Butler, who was the lead investigator on the case, said: “Dimov preyed on women who trusted him and were in a vulnerable state when he assaulted them.

“The great work carried out by officers to build this case is only overshadowed by the bravery of the women who came forward. If anyone believes they have been assaulted at the hands of Dimov I urge them to get in touch - we want to help you.

“We are dedicated to protecting vulnerable women and girls in London and we will do all we can to make them feel safe.”
